Jason Lemire is a seasoned tradesman and the founder of Refinishing Wizards, a family-owned business built on a passion for craftsmanship and attention to detail. Born and raised in the Pioneer Valley, Jason developed a love for working with his hands at an early age. That natural inclination led him to pursue a career in the trades shortly after graduating from Granby Jr./Sr. High School in Massachusetts.
In 2000, Jason began his professional journey, balancing part-time studies at Springfield Technical Community College with hands-on carpentry work. He became a proud member of Carpenters Union Locals 107 and 108, where he spent several years honing his skills on a wide range of construction projects.
Eager to expand beyond traditional carpentry, Jason sought out specialized training in re-glazing bathtubs, tile, and tub surrounds in Clarence Center, New York. It was here that he discovered a deep appreciation for the refinishing trade and the transformation it brings, taking something old and giving it a second life.
In 2014, while still running a successful carpentry business, Jason founded Refinishing Wizards with a mission to offer high-quality, long-lasting refinishing services. Under his leadership, the company rigorously tested various coating systems and application techniques, ultimately adopting what Jason believes is the most advanced refinishing formula available today.

We start of with a slow prepping process by using specialty cleaners and etching. Our hybrid epoxy-enamel system offers a strong, porcelain-like finish that's fast-drying, low in odor, and exceptionally durable, far exceeding the performance of typical urethane-based products. It's so tough, customers can safely use bath mats after curing. Once applied, the finish is nearly impossible to strip. We can match factory or custom colors.
